William Warmus is a writer and curator specializing in the
points of intersection between art, nature, and
technology. He is the author of 11 books about art and
several essays about the aesthetics of the ocean realm and
the history of underwater exploration. The Wall Street
Journal described the exhibition "Fire and Form" that he curated
in 2003 for the Norton Museum of Art in Palm Beach as
"substantial and delightful."
His
photograph of a highly unusual octopus appeared on the
cover of Ocean Realm magazine in 2001, and in 2002 he
delivered the Ocean Seminars at Alfred University. He
lives near Ithaca, New York. |
